Rob Soop is the owner and lead consultant of Specialized Investigative Consultants. Rob served thirty-two years in law enforcement and retired in 2000. Rob retired as the Supervisory Special Agent of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Computer Forensics Unit.
Rob has extensive experience with the seizure, acquisition, and examination of electronic evidence. The experience also included the use of various cell phone and computer forensic tools. Rob has numerous certifications related to the field of cell phone and computer forensics and has been qualified as an expert in these fields of forensics.
Upon retirement from law enforcement Rob recognized the need for the use of forensics to support litigation. Rob uses the same tools used by most law enforcement agencies across the country.
Rob is able to take complex issues related to forensics and explain them in a practical way which is easily understood.
